 Newsletter No 8 – 19th December 2014

Dear Parents,

Thank you to reception, year three and year six for their Christmas performances and services.  It has been lovely seeing all the children perform and I know these children have enjoyed having the opportunity to perform to a wider audience now that we are able to open up the productions to younger children and grandparents!  I am delighted to announce that we raised approximately £1,400 from the production collections and our Christmas Jumper Day which will be donated to the Save The Children fund.  A fantastic achievement – well done and thank you to everyone for supporting such a worthwhile cause!

This week has been full of fun Christmas activities and all the children have enjoyed watching the pantomime Aladdin in the hall as well as their Christmas parties.  Because of all the activities, we have not been able to get together as a whole school so we will begin next term by awarding Red Hill star badges and certificates along with the 100% attendance prizes.

May I take this opportunity to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.  We look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday 5th January.

Yours sincerely

Miss Butcher

Headteacher
