National Young Writers Award
The children of Year 1 and 3 are very lucky to be having visitors on Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th March. Explore Learning will be coming into school to talk to the children about entering the National Young Writers Award to help and inspire the children in writing to their full potential. The rest of the school will be able to use the materials provided by Explore Learning to help them write fantastic short stories over the Easter holiday so that they too can enter the competition. The National Young Writers Award is open to all children aged 4 – 14, this year’s theme is ‘The Future’, so we hope as many children as possible will enter this exciting competition. The top prize is a trip to Disneyland Paris and £500 worth of books for your school – definitely worth entering! The deadline is May 5th 2017. The children will find out all the entry details during the workshops and assemblies that they will attend. Find out more information at https://www.explorelearning.co.uk/national-young-writers-awards/
We are looking forward to reading some amazing short stories.
